The price of homes for sale continues to rise in Lanzarote and has reached its historical maximum in two of the island's municipalities. This is clear from data published by the Idealista real estate portal. Specifically, Arrecife and Haría have reached their highest value.
In the island's capital, Arrecife, the average price of housing stood at 2,000 euros per square meter, while in Haría it has already exceeded 3,000 euros.
Haría, the Largest Increase in Autonomy
According to data from September 2025, Haría was the Canary Island municipality that experienced the largest increase in housing prices in percentage terms compared to the previous year. Specifically, in the northern municipality, prices have risen by 50% compared to September 2024.
Currently, it is the sixth most expensive municipality in the province of Las Palmas to buy a home and the eleventh in the archipelago. Likewise, this trend continues to rise and prices have grown by 21.3% in the last month, now standing at 3,095 euros per square meter, the highest value recorded in the town. A year ago, a home in the town cost around 1,000 euros less.
Haría has already surpassed the neighboring municipality of Teguise, whose price amounts to 2,802 euros per square meter, after reaching its peak last July and occupying the eighth position in prices in the province.
Arrecife by Neighborhoods
In the most populated city of Lanzarote, the neighborhoods of Valterra, La Vega, Las Salinas, Argana, and Maneje are below 1,950 euros per square meter. Meanwhile, in the center of the capital and the area of Altavista, Titerroy, and San Francisco Javier, prices are already reaching up to 2,320 euros.
Tías and Yaiza, third and fourth most expensive municipalities in the Canary Islands
Two other municipalities of Lanzarote are also on the list of the most expensive places in the archipelago to buy a home. Tías and Yaiza occupy the third and fourth position, among the localities with the highest price per square meter in the Canary Islands. Only the tourist areas of other islands, such as San Bartolomé de Tirajana (Gran Canaria), Adeje (Tenerife) and Mogán (Gran Canaria) exceed them in price.
According to data from last month, a home in Tías cost 3,835 euros per square meter, while in Yaiza the price was 3,819.

Approximately 2.2% of homes for sale on the Idealista real estate portal are illegally occupied. In total, Lanzarote has more than a thousand apartments and houses for sale on this platform, of which around 22 are not in the possession of their owners.
