The percentage of homes for sale that do not last even a week advertised in the province of Las Palmas, made up of Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, and Gran Canaria, continues to fall and stood at 7%, during the second quarter of 2026, according to data provided by the portal Idealista.com.
The figure is five points lower than that registered during the first quarter, when 12% of homes for sale were purchased in less than a week. It is also lower than that of a year ago, when it stood at 8% of homes.
18% of the houses advertised in the province of Las Palmas during the second quarter of 2026 lasted less than a month (also four points less), while another 25% took up to three months, 38% between three months and a year, and 11% more than a year.
Nationally, the percentage also fell to 7%. In the previous quarter, it had been 8%. Another 19% took between one week and one month to sell; another 27% between one and three months; 36% took between three months and a year, and 11% more than a year.
By provinces, Álava has the highest percentage of express sales with 12% of houses sold in less than a week after being published on idealista.com.
It is followed by Madrid and Vizcaya (10% in both cases) and Zaragoza and Navarra (9% in both provinces).
Lugo and Ourense are the provinces with the lowest incidence of express sales, with 4% of sales in the second quarter. They are followed by Girona and Santa Cruz de Tenerife (5% in both).
