Arrecife apartments become 12% more expensive in just three months, the highest in the Canary Islands

The capital of Lanzarote is the Canary Island municipality where the prices of homes for sale have increased the most during the summer

In the last three months, the prices of homes for sale rose by 12.1% in Arrecife according to the Fotocasa real estate index, so that the square meter has been placed at 2,295 euros

To give an idea of the magnitude of the increase, the second largest increase in the archipelago in just three months occurred in Telde and was 8.4% to 2,034 euros. 

In La Oliva and Ingenio, both 7.9%, the square meter remains at 3,366 euros and 1,655 respectively. 

In the whole of the archipelago, the quarterly increase amounts to 2.7%, while in the last twelve months the increase is 19.7%, the fifth most pronounced in 21 years.

Thus, the average price per square meter in the Canary Islands is currently 3,184 euros per square meter.

By provinces the differences are substantial. In Las Palmas prices rose by 1.5% during the summer, while in Santa Cruz de Tenerife they rose by 3.1%.

Thus, the average price in the province of Santa Cruz de Tenerife amounts to 3,584 euros per square meter, while in Las Palmas it is 2,615 euros.
