Applications open for the 2025 Young Rental Voucher

The deadline for submitting the supporting documents will remain open until July 7, 2026

The Canarian Housing Institute (ICAVI) has opened the period for applying for aid intended this year for young people to pay rent, as reported this Tuesday in a statement by the Ministry of the area of the Government of Canarias.

It details that the requirements directed at beneficiaries of the Young Rent Bonus 2025 have been published so that they can submit the supporting documentation for rent payment corresponding to the expired monthly installments included in the subsidized period.

These requirements, published on the electronic headquarters of the Government of Canarias, are structured in two differentiated resolutions: one directed at beneficiaries of the general sub-line and another specific for the one corresponding to the island of Lanzarote.

The Young Rent Bonus 2025 is aid intended to facilitate access to housing for young people between 18 and 35 years old, with a subsidy of up to 250 euros per month for a maximum of 24 months.

Beneficiaries have a period of 15 business days to provide the receipts for rent or the price of cession of use corresponding to the subsidized expired monthly installments.

Failure to submit within said period may result in the loss of the right to collect the affected monthly installments.

Likewise, in files with incidents that prevent payment processing, a hearing period of 10 business days is granted for the submission of allegations and the provision of the necessary documentation to rectify or regularize the situation.

The deadline for submitting supporting documents will remain open until July 7, 2026, while the deadline for making allegations will end on June 30, 2026.
