The price per square meter in Lanzarote is about to exceed 3,000 euros again, as it already happened last February, according to data provided by the real estate portal Idealista.com.
In July it reached 2,964 euros on average, 18.9% of what it cost in the same month last year when it marked 2,492 euros.
Thus, an 80 square meter apartment costs on average 37,760 euros more than last year.
By municipalities, Teguise experienced the highest growth, 23.5%, going from 2,393 euros in July of the previous year to 2,956 last month.
Within Teguise, the houses located in Costa Teguise pulled strongly, whose price increased by 31.9%.
Next, Tías, with an 18.3% growth, reaching 4,044 euros. Last year the square meter marked 3,417 euros in the municipality that includes Puerto del Carmen.
In San Bartolomé prices grew by 15.7% and reached 2,363 euros per square meter in June. (Idealista did not publish data for this municipality in July).
The capital of the island experienced a growth in the price of its properties of 12.2%, going from 1,762 euros per square meter last year to 1,978 last July.
Finally, the houses in Yaiza became 9% more expensive, up to 3,781 euros per square meter.
The real estate portal did not publish data for Tinajo because there were not enough properties for sale during the analysis period.
