The event brought together authorities, renowned chefs, entrepreneurs and specialized press, consolidating itself as a gastronomic reference in the Canary Islands.

During his speech, the president of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort, highlighted that Lanzarote "has gone from being a traditional tourist destination to becoming an international enogastronomic reference." "Today we can affirm that our islands have become the center of gastronomy in Macaronesia."

"Lanzarote and La Graciosa are no longer just a tourist destination: we are a gastronomic destination of excellence. Here, the landscape is not only contemplated, but also savored," he said.

For his part, the councilor of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers of Lanzarote, Ángel Vázquez, highlighted the transformation and consolidation of restoration in the Centers as a key axis in the gastronomic positioning of the island.

In addition, he highlighted the role of the Centers as an organizing entity for top-level gastronomic events. "This event not only rewards culinary excellence, but also demonstrates Lanzarote's ability to host large gastronomic events. The Centers have shown that they can be the perfect setting to highlight the gastronomy and talent of our islands."
