'Tropical Chiringuito Restaurant' in Lanzarote

The Repsol guide collects every year the best summer beach bars in the Canary Islands, in its list of 'Soletes de Canarias'. In the case of Lanzarote, they have chosen some establishments located in Haría, Tías or Arrecife, among others.

'Er Cuchitrí de José Luis', is one of the chosen ones to start the list. A tavern located in Arrecife, in the La Vega neighborhood, which stands out for its quality homemade dishes, and its seafood menu, which is displayed in an aquarium in full view of customers.

Its specialty is fish, with dishes such as tuna portions, marinated dogfish and squid noodles, which are available in the tavern. In addition, you can try their roasted pepper salad, bacon and seaweed, one of the most striking dishes on the menu.

A tavern that stands out for its quality and its comfortable interior patio, an influence of the Muñoz family, the owners of the place, some Sevillians based in the city for a few decades.

A restaurant located in the Charco de San Ginés, known for its breakfasts and its specialty, fish or squid sandwiches. A sandwich that is made with the same traditional recipe since its founder Norberto Ginory opened the business in 1960.

'Chiringuito Tropical'. A beach bar located in Playa Blanca, with different types of rice to try, (the brothy rice is its specialty) made with local seasonal products. An affordable quality price for any pocket and with magnificent views of the beach of Montaña Roja.

'Restaurante El Diablo'. A restaurant located in Tinajo, in the Timanfaya National Park, precisely in the so-called Islote de Hilario. A restaurant with a very characteristic style in its way of cooking, since meats and vegetables are prepared in an open oven on volcanic stone. In addition, it has a glass window to observe the Geyser while enjoying some wrinkled potatoes, pork, Canarian sauces, etc.

'Casa Juan Ramón' in Tías. A restaurant with typical Canarian homemade food and homemade wines, which has been open since 1990. Hidden in the town of Conil and with a varied menu of tapas and portions.
