The Regulatory Council of the DOP Vinos de Lanzarote applauds the achievements of Producciones Arráez Bravo in the renowned 'Challenge International du Vin', held in Bordeaux, France, on April 26 and 27.
The winery has been awarded two gold medals, one for its Lágrima de Listán Negro and another for its Lágrima Malvasía, thus accumulating several awards with both references in different previous competitions.
The Challenge International du Vin, which brings together more than 3,500 wines from 38 countries, is a "competition with great influence in the wine world, and has become a benchmark of quality since its creation in 1976." The event has a panel of more than 800 international experts.
"This international recognition once again highlights the work and passion that our wineries put into each bottle," said Jorge Rodríguez, president of the Regulatory Council of the DOP Vinos de Lanzarote.
"Our wines, born from the volcanic soil of the island, despite the adversities, continue to forge a path that has no borders, showing that Lanzarote is an oenological jewel with its own character," he added.
