The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through its platform Lanzarote Moda, has participated this week in the showroom "Canarias - Islas de Moda", an event organized by Proexca in the Madrid agency "No Sólo Una Idea". In this edition, the island has had the presence of six designers, the largest expedition of the Canary Islands in the forum.

The firms selected to represent the talent and creativity of Lanzarote have been Ángel Cabrera, Angie Vásquez, Famara Spirit, Macaronesia Lanzarote, Oswaldo Machín and Rosa Delgado. During the meeting, these brands have been able to exhibit their collections to professionals in the sector, establish commercial contacts and strengthen their positioning in the national and international sphere.

The Councilor for Industry of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, Aroa Revelo, has accompanied the designers and highlighted the importance of this initiative for island fashion. "This showroom reinforces the talent and creativity of our land, providing new opportunities for the Canary Islands fashion industry. From the Cabildo of Lanzarote we will always support this type of initiative because we know that fashion is a cultural expression, it is employment and it is economic growth."

The agency "No Sólo Una Idea" was the space chosen for this showroom, providing an open and functional environment where brands have been able to organize presentations, hold private meetings with clients and give their pieces to celebrity stylists and specialized press for future fashion productions.

Aroa Revelo has highlighted the relevance of this opportunity for local firms. "This showroom is much more than an exhibition, it is a growth ramp where our brands can connect with the fashion sector in Madrid and open new doors for Canary Islands talent. Our objective is clear: to consolidate our fashion in the national and international industry."

In addition, the Councilor for Industry has recalled that the Cabildo of Lanzarote has recently opened the registration period for new designers who wish to join the Lanzarote Moda label, a platform that promotes the island's creators and projects them to national and international markets.
