More about PROFILM and AECINE

PROFILM, a non-profit association that brings together the main production companies in Spain that develop national and international audiovisual projects for film and series, took the opportunity to propose lines of improvement, especially administrative ones, to continue growing in the agility of procedures.

The objective is to consolidate Spain as a reference destination for international film shoots, promoting investment in the audiovisual sector and facilitating the development of global productions in our territory. They group more than 85% of the international audiovisual production developed throughout the Spanish territory.

For its part, AECINE, the main association of independent film producers in Spain, is responsible for strengthening the Spanish film industry, guarantees the cultural diversity of the works, watches over the figure of the independent producer and also aims to increase the cinematographic heritage. For this association, Canarias is undoubtedly a benchmark, among other things, as a natural set for many of its shoots.
