'Dynamizing Arrecife'

The head of the Employment and Local Development Agency Area in the Arrecife City Council, Maciot Cabrera, closed this Thursday the Training Plan in Alternation with Employment (PFAE) Dinamizando Arrecife that has provided work for eleven months and professionally trained 20 people from the municipality who were unemployed.

The councilor thanked the "commitment and effort" of the participants, who have received the Level 2 professional certificate Dynamization of educational children and youth free time activities, as well as the Canarian Employment Service (SCE) for the financing with something more than 340,000 euros of this project whose main objective has been to train and open a way for the reintegration into the labor market of the 20 people hired by the City Council of the capital of Lanzarote.

Throughout these eleven months, the participants in Dinamizando Arrecife have received training talks on entrepreneurship, motivation, job stimulation, cybersecurity, community work, social development or community play, and made visits to integration groups such as Pequeño Valiente. In addition, they have contributed to dynamize the socio-cultural centers of Arrecife and carried out numerous recreational activities in festive events of the municipality.

In this sense, Maciot Cabrera highlighted "the enormous value of the activities and initiatives carried out during this time in neighborhoods and public spaces of the municipality" by the members of this PFAE and stressed that from the Employment Area of the Arrecife City Council "we will continue to bet on this type of projects that generate opportunities in our city".
