Lanzarote closed the month of October with 72,190 contributors to Social Security, 218 more than in September, and continues to exceed historical highs month after month, according to the Lanzarote Data Center with figures from the Canary Islands Institute of Statistics (ISTAC).
In October, with 63 more contributors compared to the previous month, Arrecife added a total of 30,009 members to Social Security and thus exceeds the barrier of 30,000 contributors to the Public Institute for the first time in its history.
The second municipality with the most affiliations in October was Tías, which with 50 more contributors reaches a total of 9,083 members of Social Security.
Next is Yaiza, where 38 more people registered in October on the lists of the Public Institute. Thus, the southern municipality reaches 8,156 contributors.
Tinajo and Haría added 32 and 19 contributors respectively in October, so Tinajo reaches a total of 3,165 contributors, while the northern municipality already has 2,235 members.
In Teguise there were 14 new registrations, so its total amounts to 10,546 contributors.
For its part, San Bartolomé only increased its number of affiliations by two people, so its total number of contributors to Social Security is 8,996 people.
