From labor staff to civil servant in the Cabildo of Lanzarote: only 54 admitted for 147 positions

The Insular Council of Lanzarote and La Graciosa published this Monday in the Official Gazette of the Province of Las Palmas (BOC) the provisional lists of admitted and excluded candidates in its selection processes for the permanent civil servant status of labor personnel.

This is a total of 147 positions offered divided into 20 professional categories in a selection process launched by the Council so that its permanent labor personnel can access the status of civil servant in equivalent positions.

A total of 102 people have applied to this extraordinary administrative process, of which 54 applicants have been provisionally admitted and move directly to the next phase. The majority of those excluded have been so for not being labor personnel of the island's main institution. 

The category with the largest volume in the process is Administrative Assistant, with a total of 79 positions. 49 people registered, of whom 23 applicants have been provisionally admitted.

The second category with the most positions is Social Worker. The Council offered 12 civil servant positions. 9 candidates applied, of whom a total of 7 have been provisionally admitted.

In third place, 8 Psychology positions were announced for which five people applied and only two have been admitted.

Next, six positions for General Administration Technician for which 11 people applied, with four of them admitted.  

Also five positions for Higher Technician in Sociology and another five for Cultural Manager. For the former, four people applied and for the latter five, all of them admitted. 

Those listed as excluded have 10 business days from this Tuesday, August 11. 

Once the definitive list is approved, the composition of the Qualifying Tribunals for each of the 25 specialties and categories called will be made public.
