Valle revalidates the Presidency of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa: meet his team

He has been re-elected by acclamation for a new four-year term after no alternative candidacies were presented nor aspirants registered for the Presidency of the entity.

José Valle will continue at the head of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa after being re-elected by acclamation for a new four-year term, as no alternative candidacies were presented nor were any candidates registered for the Presidency of the chamber entity.

Valle's re-election represents unanimous support for the management developed over the last four years, a period in which the Chamber has reinforced its role as a driving force for the island's economic development and as a reference point of contact for Lanzarote's business community.

During his first term, José Valle has based his government action on "results-oriented management, managing to triple the institution's budget and significantly expanding its capacity for action in key areas for the island's economy." In parallel, he has promoted a strategy based on business unity, fostering consensus among the different economic sectors of Lanzarote and consolidating the Chamber as a representative and cohesive voice in defense of the island's general interests.

At the head of the Chamber, Valle has consistently defended a growth model for Lanzarote based on qualification, training, and productivity improvement, betting on sustainable economic development that generates quality employment opportunities and greater competitiveness for Lanzarote's companies.

The absence of alternative candidacies for both the presidency and the institution's governing bodies reflects the broad support obtained by the management carried out and the business community's confidence in the project developed over the last four years.

Along with José Valle, the new Executive Committee of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote will be composed of María Carmen Martinón Ramírez, representing Representaciones Industriales Canarias, as first vice-president; José Antonio Martínez Mpanga, from Logimarex S.L., as second vice-president; and Naira Valls Cabrera, from Grupo Cabrera Medina, who will serve as treasurer.

Likewise, Beatriz Salazar Hernández, representing herself; Nicolás Andrés López Ramírez, from Revoco de la Triguera; Rafael Lasso Lorenzo, from Puerto Marina Rubicón Lanzarote; and Raquel Caraballo Valdivia, from Aloe Plus Lanzarote, will be part of the Executive Committee as members.

After his re-election, José Valle thanked the trust placed in him by the plenary session and reaffirmed his "commitment to continue working for a useful, close Chamber capable of responding to the needs of the island's companies". Likewise, he highlighted that "business unity will continue to be one of the fundamental pillars of his mandate, along with training, innovation, and strengthening the competitiveness of the productive sector".

The new mandate will be marked by the continuity of the strategic lines promoted in recent years, with special attention to human capital training, digital transformation, support for entrepreneurship, and the defense of initiatives that contribute to the economic and social development of Lanzarote.
