The San Bartolomé City Council has initiated the administrative procedure to grant authorizations for the occupation of public domain for the Playa Honda 2026 Beach Festivals, as stated in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP) this Wednesday, August 12.

The tender covers the installation of two typical kiosks and a street vending stall for the sale of ice cream, which will be located on the Avenida de Playa Honda, at the end of Princesa Ico street, during the celebration of the programmed festivities from September 18 to 27, 2026.

The operating hours set by the Department of Festivities establish that the commercial activity will operate from 11:00 AM to 02:00 AM on September 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 27, extended to 04:00 AM on September 18 and 26. Furthermore, the regulations determine that the structure for the ice cream stall must have delimited dimensions of six by four meters.

Interested professionals have a period of ten business days from August 13, 2026, to submit their application. To participate in the process, it is essential to be of legal age, be registered and up-to-date with payments for the Economic Activities Tax (IAE) and Social Security, as well as have the corresponding Civil Liability Insurance.

Applications, accompanied by the official responsible declaration, must be processed at the Registry of the San Bartolomé City Council or through its electronic headquarters. The award will be resolved in accordance with the criteria of the Municipal Ordinance for Street Vending, with a public draw before the municipal notary foreseen in case of ties in scoring or for the allocation of possible vacant spots.
