Baleària Canarias has reinforced its staff structure with the incorporation of nearly one hundred professionals in the branches and ships operating in the archipelago. In addition, the company maintains another 15 selection processes open to continue strengthening its teams and consolidate its standards of quality, safety, and excellence.
This reinforcement, which has been carried out in just one month of activity in the archipelago, responds to the shipping company's commitment to developing a solid operational structure prepared to face the current and future challenges of maritime transport in the Canary Islands. On the one hand, new professionals have been incorporated into the branches with the aim of enhancing customer service, reinforcing port operations, and supporting the company's integration and growth process in the islands. On the other hand, the crewing of the ships acquired from Armas Trasmediterránea has been reinforced, adapting it to Baleària's standards.
It should be recalled that, of the 1,500 employees from Armas Trasmediterránea, 850 are professionals linked to the routes with the Canary Islands, a team to which this hundred new hires and the crews of the four ships that the shipping company is adding to the routes with the Canary Islands are now joining. In this regard, the company reiterates its intention to maintain the entire workforce volume, as well as the Spanish flag on the ships acquired from Armas Trasmediterránea in accordance with the commitments made with the CNMC.
