Despite the fragile ceasefire agreed between the United States and Iran, the practical paralysis of vessel transit through the Strait of Hormuz to date prevents fuel prices from falling in Lanzarote.
The year 2026 started with an average diesel price in Lanzarote of 1.185 euros per liter, while gasoline cost on average 1.187 euros, according to figures from the Centro de Datos de Lanzarote.
In these moments, there are already several establishments in Lanzarote where diesel exceeds 1.75 euros per liter and gasoline 95 at 1.51 euros.
The most expensive gas station on the island this week is the Disa at kilometer 2 of the Yaiza to Montañas del Fuego road. There diesel costs 1.759 euros per liter, gasoline 95 is at 1.519 euros and 98 is sold at 1.619 euros.
In contrast, the cheapest diesel on the island is sold at Plenenergy in Arrecife, where it costs 1.539, although two weeks ago it was sold at 1.479 euros per liter at the same establishment.
Regarding the 95 gasoline, Plenenergy also has the most competitive price, as it sells for 1,365, slightly more than what it charged two weeks ago when the liter was at 1,339 euros.
Regarding gasoline 98, the lowest price is 1.499 euros per liter, and it can be found at that price both at the PCAN of Arrieta and at Combustibles Canarios at kilometer 18 of the road that connects Arrecife with Yaiza.
