The port of Playa Blanca registered 1.2 million passengers in 2025 and La Graciosa neared 600,000

The first grows by 3% and the second by 1.2% with respect to the previous year. Meanwhile, passengers disembarked in Órzola and Puerto del Carmen

Through the port of Playa Blanca passed 1,2 million passengers during 2025, which is equivalent to a 3% growth compared to the previous year, according to data collected by the Canarian Institute of Statistics (ISTAC) from Puertos Canarios and provided by the Lanzarote Data Center. 

Also increased the passage in the port of Caleta de Sebo, in La Graciosa. Specifically a 1.2% by going from 587,906 people in 2024 to 595,461 passengers last year.

However in Órzola a decrease  of 1.5% was registered. If during 2025 there were 541,860 passengers, the previous year there had been 550,453.

The number of passengers also fell in Puerto del Carmen. Specifically, 31.3% when going from 41,618 passengers in 2024 to 31,691 last year. 

The four aforementioned ports are part of a total of thirteen ports throughout the Canary Islands that the State transferred in 1985, which motivated the creation of the Ports Service, dependent on the General Directorate of Public Works.
