The airports of Canarias registered during the month of April a total of 4,428,218 passengers, which represents 3.5% less than in the same month of 2025. Of the total number of travelers, 4,414,347 correspond to commercial flights. Of these, 1,867,561 traveled on domestic flights, 0.7% more compared to April of last year, and 2,546,786 traveled on international flights, 6.2% less.
In addition, 40,356 aircraft movements were managed and 2,565 tons of cargo were transported.
Gran Canaria Airport registered the highest number of passengers, with 1,310,395, registering a decrease of 2.8% compared to April 2025.
Followed by Tenerife Sur Airport, with 1,063,254 passengers and 8.2% less; César Manrique-Lanzarote, with 717,869 (-3.7%); Tenerife Norte-Ciudad de La Laguna, with 620,404 (+4.7%); Fuerteventura, with 542,085 (-6.7%); La Palma, with 136,020 (+5.4%); El Hierro, with 26,787 (+7.6%); and La Gomera, with 11,404 (+6.1%).
In the first four months of the year, the Canary Islands airports have registered 18,585,501 passengers, 0.8% less than in the same period of 2025.
Of the 18,507,841 commercial travelers, 6,712,612 traveled on domestic flights (-1.1%) and 11,795,229 did so on international flights, 0.3% less compared to the accumulated for these months in 2025.
Between January and April, 163,212 aircraft movements were managed and 10,483 tons of cargo were transported.
