The Ministry of Ecological Transition and Energy, led by Mariano H. Zapata, has definitively granted a total of 323.3 million euros from aid linked to the Next Generation Funds and the incorporation of renewable energies.

Specifically, 205.2 million euros have already been granted from the calls for grants that are part of the Sustainable Energy Strategy in the Islands (EESI), managed by the ministry. Among them, grants for the promotion of energy self-sufficiency, self-consumption, or decarbonization stand out.On the other hand, an additional **118.1** million euros have been granted, corresponding to the subsidy calls that depend directly on the Institute for Diversification and Energy Saving (IDAE), under the Ministry, such as those for **self-consumption, Moves, or thermal**Zapata explained that the aid has been allocated to promote projects that improve **energy self-sufficiency**, favor the implementation of **renewables**, and accelerate **decarbonization** in all economic and social sectors of the archipelago”.

Specifically, aid has been definitively granted for the different programs it contains: the Program to promote the **energy self-sufficiency of Public Administrations** and boost social self-consumption (**27.1 million**); the Program to promote renewable energies in the **shared self-consumption** modality and the development of energy communities in different sectors (**23.4 million**); Aid for the creation and operation of energy communities (**2.3 million**); the Program to promote the decarbonization of the industrial sector (58.3 million); the Program to promote sustainable integral **mobility** in the islands. **Taxi** sector (1.1 million)On the other hand, given the success of the Call for aid for the implementation of **photovoltaics** on anthropized land, the investment was increased from 19 million euros to more than 101 million, so it is currently in the process of being awarded

Regarding IDAE grants, a total of 22,700 grants have been awarded between Moves, related to electric cars and chargers, and Autoconsumo, photovoltaics. Specifically, 82.52% of the budget for Autoconsumo aid has been finally granted, with a global amount of 51,271,946 euros, while for the Moves III Program, which runs until 2024, 92.08% has been finally granted, that is, 61,849,321.35 euros.
