Island Craft Fair 2023

The Cabildo of Lanzarote announces that the 35th edition of the Insular Craft Fair will feature the participation of more than 120 artisans, who will present their unique creations, reflecting the rich craft tradition of the Island and the Canary Islands in general. This edition will be held from September 10 to 15 in Mancha Blanca, Tinajo.

The Councilor for Crafts, Aroa Revelo, expresses that "this Fair is a sample of the talent and creativity that characterizes our artisans." She also highlights that it is not only an exhibition space, but also a space for learning and inspiration for all those people who seek to connect with the roots of the islands. "I invite residents and tourists to visit it, to discover the cultural richness offered by these creators," she concludes.

The Lanzarote Craft Fair, a prominent event in the cultural calendar of the Canary Islands, will feature a select and varied representation of traditional and contemporary crafts from the rest of the Canary Archipelago, including potters, ceramists, carpenters, basket makers, hatters, shoemakers, jewelers, miniaturists, traditional costume makers, cutlers, cigar makers and stonemasons, among others. In addition, this year there will be the participation of artisans from the Azores, Madeira and Cape Verde, since Macaronesia is the guest region of this edition.

The Fair will begin on Tuesday, September 10, at 5:30 p.m., and will be open to the public until 9:30 p.m. From Wednesday, September 11 to Sunday, September 15, the hours will be from 10:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m., offering visitors the opportunity to explore a wide variety of handicrafts for six consecutive days.
