In March, 95 gasoline in Lanzarote had an average price of 1.187 euros, the lowest in the Canary Islands, according to the Lanzarote Data Center with information from the General Directorate of Industry and Energy.
Therefore, the discount to the non-capital islands will continue not to apply to Lanzarote, since prices are currently below those observed in Gran Canaria and Tenerife.
The price in March in Lanzarote was 12.3% lower than it was twelve months ago and is below the average price of the archipelago, which was 1.235 euros per liter of 95 gasoline.
Meanwhile, the average price in Fuerteventura reached 1.341 euros, while in Tenerife it was 1.229 and in Gran Canaria 1.209 euros.
In La Gomera, the average price in March amounted to 1.461 euros, in La Palma it was 1.370 euros, and in El Hierro 1.523 euros.
Lanzarote also had the cheapest 98 gasoline in the archipelago in March at 1.328 euros per liter, 10% cheaper than a year ago.
The same happened with diesel, which in Lanzarote had an average price of 1.176 euros, 11.5% less than it cost in the same month last year.
