That the relationship of an event with its territory can generate a positive impact is the idea from which the Canarian company Tropibatt starts to transform the way of designing and developing cultural projects and events on the islands, incorporating sustainability and the circular economy from the beginning of each production.

This SME specialized in technical services, consulting, and project development has been identified as a success case by the Red CIDE, through SPET – Turismo de Tenerife, for promoting a model of cultural production based on creativity, connection with the territory, and innovation.

The Red CIDE is an initiative of the Ministry of Universities, Science and Innovation and Culture of the Government of the Canary Islands, promoted through the Canarian Agency for Research, Innovation and Information Society (ACIISI), and co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund, with a co-financing rate of 85% within the framework of the FEDER Canarias 2021-2027 Program.

Tropibatt's proposal connects professionals, artists, producers, and producers from the primary sector, both from the Canary Islands and other territories, with the aim of sharing talent, knowledge, and resources. This vision has also been transferred to the company's management, incorporating processes of innovation and continuous improvement.

With the support of the Red CIDE, the company has restructured its business model, defined a more differentiated service offering, strengthened its collaboration network, and improved both its internal management and its communication and commercialization strategy.

"We have taken a leap in the digitalization and professionalization of the company, improving internal management by restructuring the business model and establishing differentiated offerings," explains Víctor Javier Carballeira Hernández, administrator of Tropibatt and project manager.

For Carballeira, the value of the Red CIDE goes beyond technical advice. "It not only provides resources for continuous improvement, but also fosters constant learning, keeps us up-to-date with updates and news, and opens the door to a network of strategic contacts."

The head of Tropibatt considers that this accompaniment is especially valuable for small businesses, as it facilitates facing transformation processes with greater confidence. "It drives us to think about new ways of working, growing as a company, and managing projects in a more orderly manner. It is fundamental support for moving forward with security and not feeling alone on the entrepreneurial path," he concludes.
