The drivers of Arrecife Bus have decided to postpone the strike, scheduled for this Monday, April 15, after reaching "at the last minute" a pre-agreement with the company, according to the president of the Company Committee, Ricardo Hernández
Hernández explains that "it has been thanks to the intervention of the Minister of Transport, Domingo Cejas, and one of the inspectors, that we have managed to reach a temporary agreement whereby the company has committed to comply with what was requested from the 29th of the same month"
As will be recalled, "the CCOO advisors have been proposing to the company drafts of schedules with rotating shifts for part of the staff - about half of about 120 drivers - with weekends off, among other labor improvements, which (the company) still does not accept," explained Hernández.
