The average price of a liter of gasoline in Lanzarote was 1.123 euros in July, almost ten cents more than it had been in June when it amounted to 1.036 euros.
However, Lanzarote has accumulated four months with the lowest prices in the Canary Islands, according to data from the General Directorate of Industry and Energy of the Government of the Canary Islands, provided by the Lanzarote Data Center.
The second island with the lowest price in July was Gran Canaria, where the liter was sold on average at 1.138 euros, followed by Tenerife with an average price of 1.140 euros.
In Fuerteventura the average price during the month of July amounted to 1.227 euros, while in La Palma it was 1.306 euros. In La Gomera 1.342 and in El Hierro 1.404 euros.
Thus, Lanzarote will remain outside the extraordinary and temporary bonus of the Government of the Canary Islands for the islands where fuel costs more than in the capital cities.
The best price for 95 gasoline on the island is currently at the Plenoil gas station in Arrecife where it is sold at 1.047 euros. Plenoil also offers the cheapest diesel on the island at 1.049 euros.
On the other hand, the cheapest 98 gasoline on the island is in the PCAN of Arrieta, where the liter is sold at 1.199 euros.
