The Lanzarote and La Graciosa Chamber of Commerce presented this morning the new Island Economic Situation Bulletin, a key tool for analyzing the island's economic situation and supporting business decision-making.

The Insular Situation Bulletin is now dynamic and leaves behind static quarterly documents thanks to an automated digital application, which is periodically updated with the most recent data available.

This improvement represents a significant advance in terms of accessibility, updating, and usefulness of information for the island's business community and economic agents.

The report contains essential insularized economic variables such as the unemployment rate, the arrival of tourists, and the movement of goods, fundamental indicators for understanding the economic evolution of Lanzarote and La Graciosa.

These variables are based on official data from ISTAC, the Data Center of the Cabildo of Lanzarote, and the Chambers of Commerce, presented in graphic format to facilitate their interpretation.

In addition to the indicators that had already been analyzed, the new Bulletin incorporates a new graph on **daily spending** per tourist on the islands of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, "a piece of data of particular interest for evaluating the economic impact of tourism and supporting strategic planning for the sector, in line with the Chamber of Commerce's strategy to move towards a tourism model based on greater quality and added value."During his speech, the president of the Chamber of Commerce, José Valle Martínez, thanked Cajasiete for their collaboration and commitment to this project: "We have been working together on this bulletin since 2020, and their support has been fundamental in promoting initiatives that provide valuable information for our island and its business fabric.""With this new edition, we are committed to innovation, modernizing the bulletin and improving the consultation application, offering more up-to-date and accessible data that allows for a clearer view of the economic situation of Lanzarote and La Graciosa."For his part, the Director of Institutional Relations at Cajasiete, José Manuel Garrido, highlighted the importance of having these types of analysis tools: "Having updated and verified data allows us to make more accurate decisions. Periodic monitoring of these indicators is fundamental to understanding what is happening at all times and anticipating possible economic difficulties, identifying more effective solutions."

Likewise, the Lanzarote and La Graciosa Chamber of Commerce and Cajasiete have proceeded today with the renewal of their collaboration agreement, with the aim of continuing to jointly promote the preparation and dissemination of the Island Situation Bulletin.
