The most “fining” radar in the Canary Islands is at kilometer 20 of the LZ 67, also known as the road of the Fire Mountains, issued 25,375 complaints in 2024.
But it is not the only one on the island. According to the organization for the defense of European associated motorists (AEA), the second radar with the most fines in Lanzarote is on the same road as the first, but at kilometer 16 of the LZ 67. In 2024, it accumulated a total of 5,631 complaints.
In third place is the radar at kilometer 1 of the LZ 2, the road that connects Arrecife with Playa Blanca, which in 2024 led to a total of 1,224 fines.
The fourth radar with the most complaints in Lanzarote is also on the LZ 2, but at kilometer 5. With its information, 1,070 complaints were formalized last year.
Finally, the fifth radar on the island with the highest number of fines is located on the LZ 3, that is, on the Arrecife Ring Road. Specifically located at kilometer 1, it accumulated a total of 778 complaints in 2024.
