The Association of Young Entrepreneurs of Las Palmas (AJE Las Palmas), which represents young entrepreneurs from Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Gran Canaria, and Fuerteventura, presents its new Board of Directors, headed by Néstor Santiago, with a clear roadmap: to continue positioning the organization as a benchmark for young entrepreneurs in the province and to strengthen its role within the economic ecosystem.
The new leadership faces this stage with the aim of continuing to promote the growth of young entrepreneurs, reinforcing institutional representation, and fostering collaboration among the business community.
Likewise, the organization wishes to express its gratitude to the outgoing Board of Directors, chaired by María Delgado, current president of AJE Canarias, for her dedication, commitment, and work during her term, contributing to the development and strengthening of AJE Las Palmas in recent years.
The structure of the new team combines diverse profiles with experience in key areas. The presidency falls to Néstor Santiago, responsible for strategic direction and institutional representation, accompanied by Laura Fernández as vice-president, in charge of internal coordination, and by Pablo Picasarri as vice-president, focused on the activation and growth of the business community.
The team is completed by Kevin Marrero in the Secretariat, responsible for administrative and legal management, and Jaime Cabello in the Treasury, in charge of the organization's economic sustainability.
The Board also incorporates various specialized vocal positions in areas such as digitalization and entrepreneurship (Rubén Gracida), social media (Dulce Salas), communication and protocol (Pedro Ferrera), knowledge transfer (Maica Amador), training (Claudia Ojeda), primary sector (Cristina Polo), events and dynamization (Natalia Triana), vocal for Lanzarote (Alejandro Delgado), vocal for Fuerteventura (Yasmina Newport), and large companies (Laura Santiago), with the aim of responding to the real needs of the young business community.
Contacts, institutions, and business growth
In the words of Néstor Santiago, "we want an AJE Las Palmas that is useful, influential, and connected, capable of generating real business opportunities and strongly representing the voice of young entrepreneurs."
The roadmap for this new stage is structured around three strategic axes: AJE Connect, focused on fostering contacts and synergies among associates; AJE Represents, aimed at reinforcing institutional positioning; and AJE Drives, centered on supporting business growth and entrepreneurship.
Among the main lines of action are the development of entrepreneurship programs, initiatives for making contacts, specialized training, and economic development projects, as well as actions aimed at improving the visibility of young entrepreneurs and generating business opportunities.
The new Board of Directors is already working under a model based on constant communication, transparency, and active participation of its members, with the premise of advancing in a coordinated manner in the development of the association.
