The airline Air Europa, which connects Lanzarote with Madrid, with four weekly frequencies and with Bilbao, with another three, has recently activated a new WhatsApp channel through which users can not only resolve doubts and consult information, but also purchase tickets, download them to their mobile, and easily check the status of their reservations.
According to the company, connection with this profile is carried out like with any other user of the platform. The customer only needs to connect with the channel's number, 911 401 501, from where they will receive immediate attention, both in Spanish and in English.
Once the chat is opened, the user can perform a navigation by topics of interest through menus, if they wish, but they will also have the option to make free text queries or talk to an advisor if necessary.
Likewise, customers can search for flights and complete the ticket purchase process directly from WhatsApp, excluding, for now, the purchase of seats for multi-leg journeys, the redemption of SUMA Miles, or the use of promotional codes.
Once the operation is confirmed, the customer will receive the reservation directly in the conversation thread and will even be able to download it to their usual wallet application, to avoid the need to print them, thus managing them with maximum agility.
Customers with reservations can check their status through this channel: from itinerary details to associated services, included passengers, or fare conditions. Similarly, they will have the possibility to do online check-in from WhatsApp, complete pending payments, or include additional services in their ticket.
