An innovative project at the service of the environment

The winner of this edition was Macaronesia Digital SLU, with its project socmrv.net. This innovative platform allows the monitoring and verification of organic carbon in agricultural soils, helping farmers to access the carbon credit market and improve the water management of crops.

The winning project has been awarded 5,500 euros, reinforcing the commitment of the Líneas Romero Foundation and the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa to innovative and sustainable talent in the Canary Islands.

Along with the winner, Juan Pedro Dyangani Ose, also from Gran Canaria, reached the final with TokenMYs, a digital ecosystem that promotes the recycling of organic waste through blockchain and artificial intelligence.

Also Javier Jiménez Rodríguez from Tenerife with Effiwaste, a digital platform to reduce food waste in the HORECA sector, optimizing the purchase of food and promoting in-house composting.

The fourth finalist was David Francisco Pérez, from Gran Canaria, with NEO EURISCO, a project focused on the development of sustainable supercapacitors from industrial hemp biomass to improve energy storage in electric platforms.
