Faycan Automoción opens its new facilities, as official Toyota dealership in Arrecife, offering a space conceived under the new corporate identity of the Japanese brand and designed to offer a closer, modern, and technological experience to customers in Lanzarote.

With this opening, the company reinforces its presence on the island and culminates a new phase of investment aimed at adapting its services to Toyota's most advanced standards. Commercial activity will henceforth take place in the new facilities, while the official workshop and after-sales service will continue to be provided at the usual location.

Coinciding with this new stage, we speak with Jerónimo Quevedo Guerra, founder and co-owner of Grupo Faycan, about the significance of this project and the future of Toyota in Lanzarote.

- What does this new opening represent for you?

(Jerónimo Quevedo) Well, it represents the culmination of a very important project for us, accompanying Toyota in the renovation of all its facilities at a European level with the new image. We have always believed that the best way to grow is by reinvesting in our islands, improving our facilities, and offering better service to our customers. These new facilities are precisely the result of that work philosophy that has accompanied us for more than fifty years.

- Why was it important to take this step now?

(J.Q.) Because Toyota is undergoing a very important global transformation, and we wanted Lanzarote to be part of it, just as we did last year in Fuerteventura with Faycan Motor. The brand is evolving towards a model much more focused on the customer experience, with more open, digital, and accessible spaces. It was the right time to adapt to this new reality and offer facilities in line with what the market demands today.

- What will the customer find when visiting these new facilities?

(J.Q.) They will find a completely renovated space, with 1,100 square meters of exhibition area, where 400 square meters will be dedicated exclusively to pre-owned vehicles, and designed so that the experience is comfortable, close, and personalized. We are no longer just talking about looking at vehicles; we are talking about advice, technology, individualized attention, and mobility solutions adapted to each person. We want each customer to feel accompanied throughout the decision-making process.

- Tell us about the Used Vehicles space. What does this new line of business mean?

(J.Q.) It is a reality that the market increasingly demands used vehicles, and in this regard, Toyota's renowned reliability becomes even more valuable. The trust that the brand has built over the years translates into greater peace of mind for the customer, who can access a used vehicle with the guarantee of making a safe and durable purchase. Furthermore, this new showroom will allow us to have a larger stock of available vehicles, offering more options and a better response capacity to our clients' needs.

- The official workshop remains in the previous location. What advantages does this organization offer?

(J.Q.) It allows us to specialize each space in what it has been designed for. The new facility is oriented towards sales and commercial attention, while our traditional facilities will continue to concentrate all workshop and after-sales activity, where we have highly specialized teams, equipment, and professionals.

The Faycan Group was a pioneer in the Canary Islands with the implementation of this new Toyota image in Fuerteventura. What is your assessment of that experience?

(J.Q.) Very positive. When we opened the new Toyota facilities in Fuerteventura, we were the first in the Canary Islands to adopt this concept. That allowed us to verify the enormous value this dealership model brings and the excellent reception it had among customers. That experience has been fundamental to developing this project in Lanzarote now.

- How has the relationship between the Faycan Group and Toyota evolved over these years?

(J.Q.) We share very important values: continuous improvement and commitment to the customer, in short, the constant pursuit of excellence. Toyota is a leading global brand, recognized for its reliability and innovation capacity. For us, it is a pride to represent these values and contribute to more and more people in the Canary Islands trusting the brand.

- Mobility is changing rapidly. How do you see the future of the sector?

(J.Q.) We are living through a historic transformation. Customers demand more efficient, sustainable, and technologically advanced solutions. Toyota has been preparing for this scenario for many years and has demonstrated enormous foresight with its hybrid and electrified technologies. We want to accompany our clients in this process and always offer them the alternative that best suits their needs.

- After so many years at the helm of Grupo Faycan, what still motivates you?

(J.Q.) To continue building projects that bring value to our islands. I am still motivated by seeing our companies grow, generating employment, improving our services, and responding to the trust that customers have placed in us for decades. Each new investment is a testament to our commitment to Lanzarote, Fuerteventura, and the Canary Islands.

- What message would you like to convey to the customers in Lanzarote?

(J.Q.) Above all, gratitude. Thanks to them, we have been able to reach this point. These new facilities are for them and reflect our desire to continue growing together. We will continue working with the same closeness, professionalism, and commitment that have always characterized Grupo Faycan.

- A commitment to the future of Lanzarote

(J.Q.) The opening of the new Toyota facilities of Faycan Automoción in Arrecife represents a new boost for the brand's presence in Lanzarote and consolidates the modernization process that Grupo Faycan has been developing in the Canary Islands. With a proposal focused on innovation, customer experience, and sustainable mobility, the company reaffirms its commitment to the economic development of the island and to providing an increasingly efficient, close, and future-oriented service.
