The Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, with funding from the ESF+ and the Cabildo of Lanzarote, has launched a special edition of its Business School coinciding with the commemoration of its two decades of service to local entrepreneurs. Under the name “Business School ENTREPRENEURS 5.0: Creating Future Businesses”, the chamber presents a proposal that represents a qualitative leap in the preparation and promotion of entrepreneurial activity on the islands.
The training activity is especially aimed at entrepreneurs who are in the idea or pre-launch phase, as well as self-employed individuals who have recently started their activity. The objective is to provide them with the necessary knowledge and tools to successfully face the challenge of entrepreneurship, understand the different scenarios they will encounter, and acquire a comprehensive vision of business management.
This edition has been designed as an advanced itinerary comparable to a master's degree in business management and company creation. Through seven modules taught by recognized professionals, the 150 hours of training will practically address essential subjects for business consolidation, such as strategic planning, financial management, digitalization applied to management processes, and innovation oriented towards sustainability.
This approach has made the Business School a benchmark program for the creation and management of companies, promoting the development of competencies and skills that allow for effective, efficient, and innovative administration of business projects.
Training for the future of our companies
The president of the Chamber of Commerce of Lanzarote and La Graciosa, José Valle, has highlighted the relevance of this call within the institution's trajectory:

With Business School 5.0, we make available to professionals and entrepreneurs from Lanzarote and La Graciosa a rigorous program that will allow them to structure solid and competitive projects in a constantly transforming market.”
In this regard, Valle has pointed out that strengthening business leadership is key to the territory's competitiveness:
“We want the talent from our islands to have the necessary training resources to grow their businesses without needing to seek this specialization outside our environment”.
For her part, the Minister of Training and Employment of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Ascensión Toledo, highlights the importance of the alliance between institutions to strengthen the island's labor market:
“From the island corporation, we maintain a firm commitment to the development of talent in Lanzarote and La Graciosa. Supporting initiatives like this School of Entrepreneurs 5.0 allows us to provide entrepreneurs and self-employed individuals with the strategic capabilities demanded by the current economy, generating opportunities for qualified employment and guaranteeing the sustainable growth of our productive fabric”.
Institutional support and co-financing
The School of Entrepreneurs 5.0 is developed within the España Emprende program, an initiative promoted by the national chamber network to foster entrepreneurial initiative and employment consolidation. The project is co-financed by the European Social Fund (ESF+) and the Cabildo de Lanzarote.
