Empresas Spínola has acquired a historic building located in the Plaza de la Iglesia, in Arrecife. The building is located on Calle Ginés de Castro y Álvarez, nº 11, just in front of the church of San Ginés.

The intention of Empresas Spínola is basically to restore and rehabilitate the building, rescue the facade and maintain the current single floor in height. Likewise, its interior will be renovated and improved to adapt it to the use it is intended to give it as a tavern-restaurant, with the possibility of hosting live music.

It is a building of the traditional domestic architecture of the 19th century linked to the urban fabric of the Plaza de Las Palmas, which stands out for the typological development, in one height, and for the ornamental elements, of sober simplicity. Other notable elements are its building typology and patios, its dimensions, volumetry and distributions, and, on the facade, the arrangement of openings and carpentry, as well as the sgraffito and friezes.

It has an area of 304 m² distributed on a single floor, enjoys a degree of environmental protection, is affected by the protection environment of the Asset of Cultural Interest of the church and its current state of conservation is poor. Known as Casa Viñas in allusion to its last owners, Otilia Díaz, who gives its name to one of the side streets, lived in this house.
