CICAR participates once again in the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, one of the main professional events in international tourism. The Canarian company for self-drive car rental attends the fair to present its services in the archipelago and strengthen its relationship with industry professionals in the United Kingdom, the main source market for visitors to the Canary Islands.

In 2025, the Canary Islands received 6.31 million tourists from the United Kingdom, 34.3% of the total arrivals to the archipelago, according to FRONTUR (ISTAC). In Lanzarote, the British market contributed nearly 1.76 million arrivals, slightly more than half of the island's total. These figures explain the importance of the London fair for Canarian tourism service companies like CICAR.

Meeting point with tour operators

CICAR's stand serves as a meeting point with tour operators, travel agencies, and other professionals interested in learning about the company's offerings. On the eve of the winter season, the London event allows the company to maintain contact with its collaborators and open new avenues for commercial cooperation.

The company's commercial director, Ramón Valiente, welcomed the Minister of Tourism of the Government of the Canary Islands, Jéssica de León, who was accompanied by several officials from her department, including José Juan Lorenzo, managing director of Promotur Turismo de Canarias.

CICAR, belonging to the Cabrera Medina Group, is a Canarian family company with a network of offices in airports, ports, and major tourist areas of the archipelago. This presence facilitates the pick-up and drop-off of vehicles at different points on the islands and allows visitors to explore them at their own pace.

The stand features the logo designed for the company by the Lanzarote artist César Manrique, one of the company's hallmarks and an expression of its connection with Canarian culture.
