The Isla Latina Festival, a cultural event that positions Lanzarote as a meeting point for Latin American music and culture in the Canary Islands, has announced the appointment of Astrid Pérez as the project's official ambassador.

This recognition responds to the institutional commitment, social sensitivity, and support shown towards an initiative that transcends the musical sphere to consolidate itself as a space for integration, coexistence, and cultural projection in the archipelago.

The Isla Latina Festival is born with the vocation of connecting cultures, generating shared identity and reinforcing the role of the Canary Islands as a bridge between Europe and Latin America, promoting values of diversity, inclusion and social cohesion. In this context, the figure of ambassador acquires a strategic role in the representation and dissemination of the principles that underpin the project.

The appointment of Astrid Pérez represents a relevant institutional boost for the growth and consolidation of the festival, reinforcing its public dimension and its capacity to generate cultural, social, and economic impact in the territory.

From the organization, it is highlighted that this designation symbolizes the union between institutions and citizenship around an initiative that reflects the diverse reality of the Canary Islands and that bets on a cultural program that gives visibility to communities with a strong presence on the island.

The Isla Latina Festival will celebrate its first edition next May at the Arrecife Fairgrounds, with an artistic and cultural proposal designed to become a benchmark event within the archipelago's calendar of events.
