A new earthquake of magnitude 2.5 is felt by the population of the Canary Islands

The National Geographic Institute has reported a new earthquake that has once again been felt by the population in the Canary Islands. The tremor took place west of Fuerteventura around 10:35 PM last Sunday night.

The earthquake was felt in three different towns on the island of Fuerteventura. Specifically, in two localities of Betancuria and in Pájara. According to the macroseismic intensity scale (EMS), it has been felt at intensities two and three.
