Canarias regrets another five deaths from Covid in three days

Currently, in the archipelago there are 105 people admitted to hospital for coronavirus, of which six are in the ICU and the rest, 99, on the ward

Canarias regrets this Friday five new deaths due to coronavirus in the last three days, three of them in Tenerife and two in Gran Canaria. All of them were between 72 and 94 years old, and suffered from previous pathologies and were in hospital.

In addition, 245 new positives in Covid-19 have been recorded in the archipelago among people over 60 years of age, which is the population group that is being monitored after passing the acute phase of the pandemic.

Therefore, the accumulated cases of coronavirus among this group in the Canary Islands amounts to 96,114 people. Thus, the Accumulated Incidence for this age group at 14 days stands at 217.44 cases per 100,000 inhabitants and at 7 days at 94.89.
