The National Police are investigating the death of a 13-year-old girl who fell from an abandoned building in the Añaza neighborhood of the capital of Tenerife, although the involvement of third parties is initially ruled out.
The incident occurred around 7:00 PM this past Thursday when the minor, apparently accompanied by some friends, was in the construction building of the Añaza hotel, which has been abandoned for decades and which the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council plans to demolish.
The Police in a statement indicate that although an investigation is underway to clarify what happened, in principle, the involvement of other people is ruled out.
According to local press reports, several incidents have already occurred from this building despite it being fenced off.
It was the minor's friends who alerted the emergency services, who were unable to do anything to save the girl's life.
