The palm tree seen in the photograph was uprooted by the strong wind last Tuesday, the 14th, at night, on Avenida de las Playas in Puerto del Carmen. A reader has sent this image to La Voz to share her surprise, seeing municipal workers trying to put a 14-meter palm tree into a truck that is no more than seven meters long.
