Workers have complained about the "unsustainable problem" in which they have to "park improperly" and even "arrive late to consultations and tests"

Workers at the Molina Orosa Hospital have denounced the "lack of parking spaces" in the hospital parking lots. Employees describe the situation as "unsustainable" and criticize in La Voz the continuous problems that patients and workers face in their day-to-day lives when approaching the health center. "We arrive late to our consultations, tests, treatments or surgeries, as do the patients," they have assured.

In addition, the staff of Molina Orosa also emphasize the presence of the Local Police in the area. "They regularly come to fine badly parked vehicles," they added. These sanctions occur due to the "dozens of cars and motorcycles" that have to park "improperly" because "there are not enough parking spaces in said center," they pointed out.

In the case of motorcycles, "there is no parking" designated for this vehicle on the hospital grounds, they criticized. So some motorcycles park on the sidewalks, given the lack of options.

Like the employees of Molina Orosa, some of the politicians of Lanzarote have echoed the problem on their social networks. The deputy of Nueva Canarias, Yoné Caraballo, has denounced the daily problem faced by the people of Lanzarote. "Several colleagues from the hospital have warned me by phone and I can't believe it," he said. Caraballo has expressed his outrage at the sanctions caused by mismanagement. "Go to work one day like today and have a 200 euro fine on your windshield," he said.
