A reader has sent a video to La Voz of a speech given by Tommy Douglas, one of the most important Canadian politicians of all time. Douglas, tired of the same rulers with economic interests always winning in each election process, invented a story about a country called Mouseland, a country of mice, where surprisingly the leaders were cats.
In this way, he tries to convince society that voting is important, because it is the citizens themselves who have to choose their rulers. The video is also illustrated with cartoons and although the sound is in English, the subtitles are in Spanish. When the election race begins, taking a look at this video becomes more necessary than ever.
