A citizen has denounced the "deplorable and unhygienic condition" in which he found the bathrooms of the La Graciosa campsite when he disembarked on the eighth island to camp on May 6. "Excrement, fungi, insects and the worst you can imagine," says this citizen, who says that his "indignation" was such that he filed a complaint about it with the Teguise City Council, which he has sent to this media.
In it, he requests that "urgent cleaning and repair measures be taken" or that they be "closed to the public" and that "paid ones with decent and clean showers and bathrooms be put in place." In fact, he states that after complaining "energetically", an operator "went and closed the bathrooms."
"Due to construction work, the bathrooms are closed until further notice," read the sign that was placed at the entrance to the toilets on the same day, according to the photograph that this man has sent to La Voz. "But they should see the state they were in. It's incredible to find this in such a wonderful environment...", criticizes this citizen.
