Report the presence of worms due to a broken pipe that has not been fixed in Arrecife

The problem comes from a pipe that "some operators of the water company Canal Gestión broke and have not fixed", which causes "bad odors and the presence of insects"

One of the worms that arise from stagnant water

A reader has contacted La Voz to report the state of the sewage system located on Alfonso Espínola street, in Arrecife. According to her, operators from the water company Canal Gestión went to the area to fix some pipes in the sewer but "what they did was make things worse."

"They realized that they had broken a pipe and said they would come the next day but a month and a half has passed and no one has come yet," the neighbor criticizes.

Because of this, the pipe has been emanating water during all this time. "The water gets stagnant in a hole in the road that is producing bugs and worms and, in addition, it is right next to a park where children play," she says.

Also, according to her, it also causes bad odors that "make it enter the houses." Despite having forwarded her complaints to Canal Gestión, she has not received a response and the situation remains the same.
