Criticizes the inability to donate blood at the Molina Orosa Hospital in the afternoon

A reader has contacted La Voz to express her complaint that blood cannot be donated at the Molina Orosa Hospital in the afternoon. "That makes it impossible for people who work in the morning to donate blood in this hospital," says this woman, who asks that the blood extraction point also be opened in the afternoon for donors who cannot come in the morning.

This reader also asks "when will there be an expansion of the number of beds in this hospital". "Well, it is obvious, and you don't have to be an expert, to know that in all the hospital services there is a lack of beds and that an expansion is needed, because the hospital has become small," she points out.

This woman also requests that "a budget be allocated and the island be provided with a decent hospital". "I only hope that the politicians of this island stop making a charade and that once and for all they worry about the health of the people of Lanzarote, because it is obvious that large amounts of money are allocated to tourist works because tourists give money and, however, just enough is allocated to health. It is disappointing, or at least I see it that way, that the citizens of this island have to be on top of the public officials we have elected to do their job," she concludes.
