Complaints because the airport luggage carts are out of service: "Can't they clean them?"

Aena states that they were removed in "all airports" at the beginning of the pandemic but that the service will be recovered "soon"

After the resumption of air traffic at the end of the state of alarm, the first complaints about the measures adopted at the Lanzarote airport have also arrived. And it is that, several citizens have criticized that the trolleys to transport suitcases are out of service.

"What do we do if we go with large suitcases or a lot of luggage? Can't they clean them?", questioned a man, who wonders "if Aena does not want to spend money to hire more cleaning staff."

In this regard, from Aena they have indicated to La Voz that the luggage trolleys were removed "in all airports" at the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic "because they were considered a possible source of transmission", but they have assured that "soon" and "in a controlled manner with the appropriate health measures", the service will be recovered at the Lanzarote airport.
