A resident of Tinajo, residing in the La Costa area, denounces the "continuous cuts" in water supply that they suffer in the municipality. "We have been without water since Thursday and it is already Sunday," he informs La Voz.
Something they are already used to: " for several years we have been suffering cuts every week, from Tuesday to Wednesday and also from Friday to Saturday," he acknowledges. Although "this week has been the last straw," adds the man.
"Of the seven days of the week, we have only had water for two," he complains. In addition, each cut we have "lasts 24 hours," he points out. "One thing is to say that they are going to reduce the pressure and another is to leave us without water for several days," he laments. A consequence of the "political neglect" in which "we have been for several years," he points out.
"It is the parties that do not provide a solution to the important problems of the island," he criticizes. Therefore, he urges the politicians of Lanzarote to "take serious solutions," for "their own good and that of other residents," he concludes.
