A reader responds to El Jueves after the Fuerteventura controversy with a cartoon

A reader has sent a cartoon to La Voz "as a response" to El Jueves and the controversy sparked by the page that the magazine dedicated to the island of Fuerteventura. The author, J. Javier Pozo, uses the image of the jester who is the emblem of this magazine and turns him into a tourist on the beaches of El Cotillo, ironically with the low "quality" of that tourism.

This controversy began after the publication of a page in El Jueves under the title "guide to surviving in Fuerteventura", with several cartoons and comments about the neighboring island. Both the Cabildo and the Majorero Popular Party expressed their outrage at this publication and even demanded a public apology.

However, El Jueves' response was to publish a new satire on its website, in which they joked about the discomfort caused in Fuerteventura by its publication. ""The newsroom of El Jueves evacuated after receiving an envelope full of mojo picón", that humorous article was titled.
