Domingo García has sent a photograph to La Voz, under the premise that "a banner is worth more than a thousand strikes." In the image, two people appear demonstrating in Arrecife on the day of the general strike, questioning both the Government and the unions.
For this reader, this image is the best reflection of the "sad" strike that took place in Spain. "In it, the state of mind of the workers is clearly reflected," says García, who points out that the banner also points to "those responsible for the current situation of defenselessness in which the working class finds itself."
Specifically, on the banner there are three clenched fists with several bills in which the words CCOO, UGT and PSOE can be seen, under a phrase that leaves no room for doubt: "They close their fists to grab the dough."
Domingo García wanted to congratulate the Guayota collective, responsible for this image, for the "so accurate" banner.
