CD Unión Sur Yaiza reunited this Sunday with the victory, breaking the streak of 16 games without knowing the triumph and three points that are worth to get closer to the permanence zone of group V of the Second Federation. The southerners were superior to UD Melilla and found the reward of the goal in the 89th minute, when Pablo Margallo was able to beat the goalkeeper Loscos.
The match began with intensity from the locals, with Emiliano Trovento starring in the first two dangerous arrivals. Without a doubt, the clearest was generated by Enrique Castaño with a shot from the edge of the area that ended up crashing into the post of the UD Melilla goal.
At the edge of half an hour, Castaño executed a closed corner kick and only Loscos' glove avoided the goal. A first part that concluded with a new opportunity for Unión Sur Yaiza, after a quick transition in which Víctor López put a ball between the lines for Trovento's entry, the shot was rejected by the goalkeeper and the loose ball was finished off by Fabricio so that a defender took it out under the posts.
There was only one team on the field in the second half, with Unión Sur Yaiza insistently looking for the winning goal. A shot by Pablo Margallo that went into the hands of the goalkeeper, a shot by Fabricio that Loscos cleared low or a shot by Cayena that did not find the three posts, were some of the approaches of the locals.
The reward for the greater insistence came in the 89th minute. In a quick play, Cayena opened for Emiliano Trovento's entry on the left, he gave way to Pablo Margallo and the strong shot from the edge of the area surpassed Loscos' stretch to become 1-0.
The seven minutes of extension were eternal, with the referee signaling the end of the match so that Unión Sur Yaiza conquered the three points that were at stake and now stand three points from the permanence zone of the Second Federation.
