Unión Sur Yaiza conceded its first two points of the season this Sunday at the Municipal de Yaiza, drawing 2-2 against CD Guadalajara, in the match that pitted two of the teams from the top of the Second RFEF standings. The visitors took the lead twice, but goals from Marco Siverio and Malick, the latter in added time, neutralized Guadalajara's advantage.
Guadalajara adapted better to the strong wind that was blowing on Sunday morning at the Municipal de Yaiza. The visitors took the lead in the 13th minute, after a poor clearance by Nauzet Pérez that hit Borja Díaz's body, and Borja himself picked up the rebound to send it into the goal.
As the minutes passed, Unión Sur Yaiza reacted and created dangerous chances. The clearest came after the first half hour, when Fabricio chipped the ball behind the defense, Emiliano Trovento was left alone and his shot went over the crossbar. The first half ended with the score at 0-1.
The second half began with two chances for Guadalajara, with Nauzet preventing the second. What would arrive would be the equalizer for Unión Sur Yaiza in the 67th minute. A good cross from the right wing was volleyed in by Marco Siverio. It only took Guadalajara six minutes to regain the lead with a goal from David Amigo in the 74th minute.
Unión Sur Yaiza went all out in search of the equalizing goal, trapping their opponent in their own area. The reward came in added time, after a corner kick in which the ball was cleared inside the area, and it was Malick who finished in the last instance to establish the tie.
Yaiza ended the match pouring over the goal defended by Armando Zarco, with the Guadajara goalkeeper preventing his team's defeat. The draw keeps Unión Sur Yaiza in fifth position in the Second RFEF, and in the next match they visit Talavera de la Reina.
